Started his professional career in 1978 after graduating at the Faculty of Oenology at Don Bosco University. A renowned researcher and consultant, he was Technical Manager at Bodegas Arizu and General Manager at Agroindustrias Cartellone.
He was Head Professor teaching Oenological Technology II at Juan Agustin Maza University from 1985 until his retirement.
In public positions, he was the National Research Director at the National Institute of Viticulture between 1982 and 1984.
With over 40 years of experience, he graduated at the Don Bosco University where he held different teaching positions from 1971 until he became Head Professor for teaching Oenological Technology IV until 2005. Between 2005 and 2012 he was Head Professor in two courses at the Catholic University of San Juan, as well as post grade professor for the Master in Viticulture and Oenology: an agreement betweenUNCuyo and the University of Montpellier in France.
He is known for his research with 25 papers published. His work with sparkling wine started with his grandfather at the Trapiche Benegas Champagnerie in 1966. He has worked as a Technical Consultant for renowned companies.
